Colossians 3:14-17

In this study we are given for more commands necessary for our growth and maturity in Christ. Obedience to these commands are essential.First, we must put on the love of God in Christ Jesus. The believer who has put on the new man must put on Love.Next, we must let the peace of God rule in our hearts. After that, the word of Christ must dwell richly in us. No true believer will be all that God has called us to be apart from knowing and obeying God's word, Finally, everything we do must be a reflection of Jesus according to the word of God. Everything we do must bring glory to God. Let us all live in obedience to all that Jesus commands of us through His word to the glory of the Father.

14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
